Herning, Denmark – April 2026
The CRAFT-IT4SD consortium will convene in Herning from April 13–15, 2026, for a pivotal in-person meeting as the project enters its final year. Hosted by VIA University College, the gathering will bring together partners from across Europe to review progress, strengthen collaboration, and define priorities for the project’s concluding phase.
As CRAFT-IT4SD moves closer to completion, this meeting represents an important opportunity to align efforts across the consortium and ensure a strong and impactful delivery of results. Over the course of the meeting, partners will engage in strategic discussions on the project’s advancements and key achievements to date, while also focusing on the roadmap ahead.
Central to the discussions will be updates from ongoing work packages, alongside collaborative sessions aimed at advancing cross-pilot actions. These activities are designed to strengthen knowledge exchange between pilot sites and support the transferability of results across different regional and sectoral contexts.
A key focus will also be placed on ecosystem replication, exploring how the project’s approaches, tools, and methodologies can be adapted and scaled beyond the initial pilot environments. In this context, partners will further develop shared strategies and frameworks to maximize long-term impact and sustainability.
In addition, the consortium will dedicate time to shaping the next steps for the Final Exhibition, which will showcase the outcomes and innovations developed throughout the project. This will include refining concepts and aligning contributions from different partners to ensure a coherent and engaging final presentation.
The meeting will also include engagement with the local creative ecosystem, providing an opportunity to connect with creative entrepreneurs and reflect on the intersections between cultural and material heritage, emerging technologies, and innovative business models.
Bringing together diverse expertise from across Europe, the Herning meeting underscores the collaborative spirit at the heart of CRAFT-IT4SD. As the project enters its final phase, the consortium remains focused on delivering meaningful results, fostering innovation, and ensuring lasting impact across the cultural and creative sectors.
