European Commission publishes new booklet showcasing Horizon Europe projects in cultural heritage and creative industries

The European Commission has unveiled a new booklet that highlights cutting-edge projects from Horizon Europe addressing the challenges and opportunities within Cultural Heritage and the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) sectors. This publication is a follow-up to a similar booklet that covered projects from the 2021-2022 calls, expanding on new initiatives that are shaping the future of culture and creativity across Europe.

The booklet provides a comprehensive overview of the selected projects, detailing the challenges they aim to tackle, their objectives, and the approaches they are taking to deliver innovative solutions. Each project has been carefully curated from Cordis, the European Commission’s Research and Development information service, ensuring that the content is tailored to fit the context and purpose of this initiative.

One of the key projects featured in this new edition is CRAFT-IT4SD, which aims to integrate technology with traditional craftsmanship to promote sustainable development in cultural heritage preservation.

The booklet serves as a valuable resource for policymakers, researchers, and stakeholders in the CCI sector, offering insights into how Horizon Europe projects are supporting cultural heritage and fostering innovation in Europe’s creative industries.
